The 53-years old Biart is said to evade the authorities till now after being arrested in 2014 under the charges of criminal drug trafficking for the ‘Ndrangheta’s Cacciola clan. The mobster escaped with his wife to Boca Chica, a coastal town in the Dominican Republic. He might have stayed clear from the eyes of the law longer had he not taken an interest in showcasing his Italian cooking skills on YouTube. While he took care not to show his face in the videos, his tattoos kind of ratted him out and got him recognised and arrested.
As per the report, Marc Biart was apprehended at Milan’s Malpensa Airport after arriving on a flight from Santo Domingo. The International Criminal Police Organisation, more commonly recognised as the Interpol, confirmed about the arrest via Twitter.
