According to the report, the design shown in the render images is the final version. On the basis of the image, it can be seen that the AirPods 3 will sport a design that will be similar to that of AirPods Pro with small stem design and replaceable ear tips. The case also looks broader rather than longer like the last two generations of AirPods.
Meanwhile, a tweet by LeaksApplePro also claims to show real-life images of AirPods 3 corroborating the AirPods Pro-inspired design.

Something similar was also claimed by a report by 52 Audio. The website had shared images of how the next generation AirPods may look like. That report had also claimed that the Apple AirPods 3 may come with support for Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). If this information happens to be true then it will be a first for non-Pro AirPods.
Having said that, it will be interesting to see how Apple upgrades the AirPods Pro to distinctly distinguish them from non-Pro models.
Earlier this week, tipster Jon Prosser claimed that the company may hold an event on March 23. He claimed this citing a “reliable source” and suggested that the company is expected to launch AirTags, iPad Pro, AirPods and Apple TV on that day.
