Samsung Galaxy A02 smartphone with dual rear camera launched

NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant Samsung has quietly launched its new Galaxy A series of smartphone with the launch of — Samsung Galaxy A02. The smartphone comes with Samsung’s Infinity V Display and is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. The smartphone is powered by an quad-core MediaTek processor and runs Android 10.
The smartphone is listed on the Thailand website of the company with a price tag of THB 2,999 (Rs 7,300). The smartphone comes in Denim Black, Denim Blue, Denim Gray and Denim Red colour options.
Samsung Galaxy A02 specifications
The Samsung Galaxy A02 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 720×1560 pixel resolution. The smartphone comes with dual SIM functionality and it runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own Samsung One UI.
The Samsung Galaxy A02 is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739W processor paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM. The handset offers 32GB/64GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy A02 smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup with 13MP main sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone houses a 5,000 mAh battery with 7.75W charging support.
Recently, Samsung started rolling out Android 11 update for its Galaxy M31 smartphone in India. It is the first mid-range smartphone of the company to receive Android 11 update. The update comes with build number M315GXXU2BYAC. The update weighs 1.88GB and it also brings Android security patch for the month of January 2021. Along with Android 11, the update also brings the latest One UI 3.0.
