NEW DELHI: Telecom operator Airtel has rolled out two new prepaid plans. The service provider introduced prepaid plans of Rs 78 and Rs 248. With these new plans Airtel is also offering Wynk Premium subscription to its users. With Rs 78 plan users will get one month subscription, while the Rs 248 plan offers one year of subscription of the service. It is also interesting to note that both are data add-on packs and you don’t get any calling facility under the plans.
Under the Rs 78 prepaid data add-on plan, the telecom operator offers 5GB data. The pack works on the same validity of your existing active prepaid plan. Along with 5G data, you also get one month of Wynk subscription. If the subscriber exhausts the 5GB data then they will be charged 50 paise per MB. This plan of Airtel, will compete against the Rs 51 data only plan from Reliance Jio. The Mukesh Ambani-owned telecom operator also offers a data only plan of Rs 51 in which it offers 6GB data. The validity of this plan is also the same as the original plan.
Under the Rs 248 plan, Airtel users will get a total of 25GB data. With this data add-on pack, users will get one year of Wynk subscription. In case they exhaust the 25GB data then they will be charged 50 paise per MB. This pack also has the same validity as the original data pack.
Recently, revised its Rs 199 prepaid plan. After the revision, the plan offers more data to the users.Under Rs 199 plan, the Airtel users will get 1.5GB data per day with unlimited local and national calling facility. The plan comes with the validity of 28 days and it also offers 100 SMS per day.
